Do something different for Lent in 2023 – join in our 80 can challenge!
Foodbanks are facing an increase in demand as energy costs soar, food prices increase and life has generally become a financial struggle for many. We hope to be able to support people through these difficult times with your support. Please join Essington Rugby Club with the 80 Can Challenge!
Lent lasts 40 days and 40 nights so we challenge as many of you as possible to collect and donate towards the club's 80 cans/packets of food for the Black Country Foodbank.

- 1L CARTONS OF UHT MILK
- 1L CARTONS OF FRUIT JUICE (FROM CONCENTRATE)
- BREAKFAST CEREAL (MEDIUM)
- JARS OF PASTA SAUCE
- TINNED MEAT READY MEALS (CHICKEN CURRY/MUINCED BEEF AND ONION/FRAY BENTOS PIES)
- TIINED POTATOES/INSTANT MASH
- SMALL JARS OF COFFEE
- TINNED FRUIT (PREFERABLY IN JUICE)
- TINNED MEAT (HAM/CORNED BEEF)
- CHOPPED TOMATOES
- BATH SPONGES/FACE CLOTHS
- SHAMPOO
- SHOWER GEL
- ROLL ON DEODORANT
- TOILET ROLL
- SINGLE TOOTHBRUSHES
- TOOTHPASTE
- HANDWASH
- WASHING UP LIQUID
- BARS OF SOA
